My breastfeeding journey: Finally...Shaklee Set B

Aryan is now 9mos and he is now able to crawl, stand, he likes claping hands, punching my nose, biting his brothers, yelling, screaming, and day dreaming..hehehe

He has taken solid food and a great foodie. He is no more my baby michelin but forever be my little bunny..love u darling

Sad to tell you ladies that Aryan already has been given Anmum eversince my EBM supply drop drastically. I tried really hard to maintain the supply but end up only able to pump out 12oz max of EBM daily and sometime can drop to 4 oz! so whatever EBM collected today, will be given to Aryan at nursery tomorrow. kalau dapat byk, bykla Aryan dpt minum, kalau sikit, kena top up with formula. before this ratio EBM: FM maybe dlm 4:1, now dah terbalik kuang..1:4. hehehe siap ada unsur2 matematik di sini

What to do..but i am not going to give up..i have two other options to increase or at least maintain milk supply

1. A pill called Motidome - Bought this pills from a clinic in cheras (recommended by my SIL) that may help to increase milk supply. the pills are very costly but I don't want to consume it yet since I must take the pills as long as I want to BF my little bunny. plus it doesn't give additional benefit to me other than milk! so let's go to option 2 first

2. Shaklee Trial pack Set B

I bought this from a blogger friend..she is not only Shaklee distributor, beliau telah membuktikan dengan Shaklee, she managed to fully BF her two gorgeous daughter until two yrs old. i envy you Alin :) Alhamudlillah.. you 're a doing great..awesome!

I received the  pills yesterday and today is my first day taking Shaklee Set B. so jgn la pikir saya akan canang yg susu saya mencurah2 hari ni..tipulah kan..hehehe (errr kul 9 tadi dpt 3 oz, walhal kul 6 dah BF Aryan..adakah aura positif telah membanyakkan susuku?)

Anyway, I pray really hard and will pray harder for Allah to grant me enough BM for my little Aryan. I want keep  BFing him until he reaches 2 yrs old.

Saya percaya anak yg disusui dengan susu ibu akan lebih rapat dengan ibunya..lebih mendengar kata dan lembut hati nya..semoga Aryan dan abang2 Aryan (walaupun tak betul2 BF) jadi anak2 yang soleh..amin

Hello ladies..

Happy Friday!

Lama tak update,.bukan kekeringan idea but past few days I was busy with the boys.. oh ya..I am proudly to announce  I am now back to my old routine, cooking! cooking with love tau.. healthy food to be exact. Semangat memasak berkobar2 espcially when My little Adam puji mcm ni.."mmmm cedapnya mami masak.." hehehe kaki bodek. mcm tahu je mami nye ni pantang dibodek..mulala kembang kempis hidung saya ni.

Actually selama ni saya malas masak sbb saya takde menu planner. so balik rumah baru nak pikir2 apa nak masak, so bila barang tak cukup dalam peti ais, last2 order je kat stall tepi rumah tu. However last Friday, I list down menu for this week in my own menu planner.. eh saya adake menu planner?? takde, saya tipu je..hehehe saya just jot down on recycle paper.. so weekend lepas saya dah start beli brg2 untuk masak seminggu. tak perlu masak susah2 sbb anak and hubby tak mkn benda complicated mcm rendang, kari bagai.. eleh tu pun nak cerita kat blog kan? orang lain tiap2 hari berkungfu kat dapur siap masak dessert lagi untuk anak2.. ah tu orang lain... saya spesis tak pandai masak sgt. so kalau berjaya sediakan menu harian untuk family rasa mcm hebat giler.

Antara menu kesukaan budak2 ni macaroni carbonara, spagetti bolognaise, fruit salad, mashed potato, coleslaw, cheese burger , mac and cheese, fried fillet fish with fries..benda2 western tu je yg dioarg suka mkn.. saya akan masak masakan mengikut selera tekak saya yakni masakan melayu during weekend sbb adik lelaki saya selalunya akan datang cari makanan..dia je suka makanan byk minyak tumis ni .ngehngehngeh...

p/s: uda, next month sudah ada wifey, boleh mkn masak lomak cili api..fulawey..terliur dah ni

ok berbalik kepada tajuk utama... saya semangat nak share this dgn u all..

kids corner! waaaa bestnye kalau boleh buat dekat boys room.. saya dah nampak dah kat mana lokasi nak buat kat rumah sendiri nanti... anyway, enjoy these two photos..hope can inspire  and create one for your own kids..akan teratur je rumah nanti

so far, beg galas anak2 saya akan dijumpai dimana2..di tangga, di dalam store..mula2 ingat nak beli storage box..simpan semua dlm kotak, so taknampak sepah..tapi lepas tgk gmabar ni kat pinterest, rasa cam best plak buat camni.. cuma kena beli beg yg stylo sketla maklumla nka buat pameran.

Atas: menarik... a command center dan tmpt gantung beg untuk 4 anak teruna saya, tapi huruf kat frame tu semua jadi 'A' sbb bebudak ni semua start dgn A - Adam, Amir, Amar, Aryan...hihihi

Bawah: yg ni more fucntional, time table for school kids, tmpt gantung beg, shoe tray and minimal deco... mungkin boleh integrate both idea into 1, yg penting command center tu kena ada..for sure saya ni ada byk kerja dan arahan untuk budak2 ni di rumah..

DIY Yogurt

The entry is about how to make a home made yogurt..easy je,,but don't know if I can allocate time to do it..will try..soon..very soon..I promise..hehehhe

For those who want to serve preservative free yogurt to your kids or hubby, why not give it a try...kalau ada lebih..bak sket nak rasa.. :)

DIY: Yogurt

Who else can't believe that February is almost over?  2012 is seriously flying by... 

I don't make resolutions for the New Year, but I do make a little list in my mind of things I want to do more of. And this year one of those things was to make more home dairy products.  I acquired this little gem of a book, Home Dairy, which gives detailed instructions and helpful tips for making all kinds of your own dairy.  I've already tried cheese and butter, and today I tackled yogurt.

It's so simple that I have a feeling this will be a repeated project every few weeks.  I never want to buy yogurt again!  

Here is how I made it...

Recipe:

slightly adapted from Home Dairy

4 cups whole, low-fat, or skim milk (I used skim)

3 Tablespoons live yogurt (make sure the container says it contains "live, active cultures") 

Or in place of the live yogurt you can use 1 packet dried yogurt culture.  

Heat the milk until it almost reaches boiling, about 180 degrees Fahrenheit.  A candy thermometer is very useful here. 

Remove milk from the heat and let cool until 110 - 115 degrees F.  Add 3 Tablespoons prepared yogurt or your dried yogurt culture.  I let my prepared yogurt come to room temp while I heated and cooled the milk before adding it.

Once fully incorporated, pour into glass jars.  I used recycled jars from pasta sauces, well washed of course.

Once in jars or containers for storing, let the yogurt temperature stay between 110 - 115 for about 6 hours.  I preheated my crockpot on low, then added the glass jars and secured the lid, and then turned the crockpot off.  This should give your yogurt a warm place to culture for the next 6 hours.  

Other methods include pouring the yogurt into a thermos, in a cooler with jars of hot water, or in a preheated but off oven.

Refrigerate and use within 1-2 weeks.  

Note: Homemade yogurt tends to be thinner in consistency than its store-bought counterpart.  If you prefer your yogurt to have a thick consistency, try adding 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin in the first step while heating your milk.  Or you can also try adding dry powdered milk, 3-4 tablespoons during the first step.

Friday @ Nandos with Powertrain ladies

Hi ladies..

Sebelum ke tajuk utama, saya nak brief sket pasal term powertrain yg selalu saya sebut2..kepada yg tak familiar dgn perkataan tu, powertrain ni adalah automotive term untuk group of components yg generate power to move the vehicle..senang cerita: engin + transmission. apa kena2 wanita2 dalam gambar ni dgn perkataan powertrain tu? actually kat proton, tempat saya keje ni ada satu department nama powertrain department. under engineering division. cik kak2 dalam gambar ni adalah sebahagian dari team powertrain yang design each engine components, test, calibrate engine and transmission.. cik kak2 ni la lady engineer yg dok tgh panas test engine performance and components kat test track..nampak je cam ayu.. dioarg ni brutal tau... bg cik kak designer plak, dioarg ni penjaga development air cleaner, a/c compressor, cylinder head, transmission, u name all the engine components...semua depa punya part...

Untuk pengetahuan, engine Campro, IAFM, CPS and terkini IAFM+ dan CFE di proton ni 100% buatan anak tempatan.. takde beli seketul dari MMC or Nissan or renault or dari china.. mmg orang malaysia yang buat. kalau ada dengar or experience sendiri engine yg  bermasalag tak ok tu harap maafkanlah ye tapi saya confident maslah engine proton takdela major lagi satu proton service center proton mesti akan bertindak pantas untuk membetulkan apa yg tak betul... apapun mana ada design yg flawless..baru2 ni dapat gambar kat FB kereta ferrari pun, engine dia tetiba terbakar kat hiway.. hebat camne nama n gah camne pun ttp ada kekurangan di mana2..

Proton pun tgh berusaha nak upgrade nama, kualiti dan imej.. yg penting sokongan padu dari rakyat malaysia..mcm rakyat malaysia sokong team harimau malaya, sokongan macam tu lah yg proton harapkan (err bebelan ni sbb ada terima komen negative dari org yg tak sukakan proton preve..kalau tka suka its ok, masing2 ada hak memilih..ceh cam mengundi plak.. cuma takyahla kondem teruk2 ye..terasa hati semua warga proton yg berhempas pulas nak buat yg terbaik untuk customer proton.

ok baru balik ke tajuk asal..jumaat lepas...ada kengkawan saya ni dinaikkan pangkat ..so diaorg tong tong belanja org yg tak naik pangkat  mcm saya ni makan2.. semua org demand nak makan kat nandos..keringla poket cik kak2 tu..hihihi

so orderla ayam peri2 nye yang lazat tu... sambil makan2, sembang2 then kul 2.30pm semua kalut nak balik opis. tau2 ujan lebat le plak..nasib baik by the time nak sampai proton, ujan dah kurang lebat.

mmg jadi tradition kitaorg wanita terakhir powertrain untuk buat mkn2 sesama kitaorg..kenapa saya panggil wanita terakhir powertrain?? sbb pasni bos taknak ambik lagi dah staff pompuan..alasannya kerap sgt ambik maternity leave..huh gender bias.

ekeleh..tapi bila tiba time nak buat report or documentation or budget, carik gak kitaorg ni..hehhee emo..

kayla..tu je nka cerita..mukadimah panjang berjela..isi kandungan sikit nak mampus..kalau cikgu BM check sure dapat C-. hihihi
